Raffle Summary
After seeing a video on Youtube of someone taking part in the 'Paperclip Challenge', Dylan, Aidan and Oscar fancied having a go! The challenge consists of starting with a paperclip and going into various retail outlets and attempting to trade upwards to get something more valuable. In the youtube video they managed to trade up to an iPhone 11! So on Sunday 11th January the boys headed into Cardiff city centre to give it a go. They chose to donate any proceeds to the Australian bushfire crisis and help the koalas. They were surprisingly successful, initially trading the paperclip for a beautiful gift set of samples from Kiehls and finally getting a voucher for an escape game for two people at Escape Rooms Cardiff worth over £50. However, most of the businesses were more interested in donating these items to the cause rather than trading, so we decided to run a raffle for the collection of generous gifts they received. We are selling tickets for £1 each and all proceeds will be donated to the WWF Bushfire Emergency Appeal. https://support.wwf.org.uk/australia-bushfires
