Characters don’t come much bigger than NHL tough guy Brian McGrattan who brought his no-compromise approach towards the game to the Panthers in season 2016-17. After nine seasons at four different clubs ‘in the show’, he had 21 domestic points in his year with Nottingham plus a further five goals that helped win the Continental Cup when the Panthers made history by becoming the only British team ever to win a European crown. He also had over 150 penalty minutes. He describes his year in Nottingham as one of his favourites, a year in which he admitted he fell in love with the sport once more after his much-publicised demons of the past. He was a fans’ favourite and had them on their feet every time the gloves were dropped. Now his LEGENDS’ shirt is the latest featured prize in our on-line raffle.
