Win Maximus ~ Artist's Signed Edition
Raffle Summary
Maximus, unique signed edition which was given to Vet Amy Jennett at White Cross Vets Wolverhampton, by the artist Shizico Yi, of No Barking Art. Amy was given this signed edition print as a thank you for the outstanding care she gave to Maximus over the 8 weeks he was in our life. Shizico was keen for this print to raise even more funds, to help even more animals in need. Amy has decided she would like to raffle it off, and raise as much as possible for both Stray Cat Rescue Team West Midlands, as well as the White Cross Fund at the Wolverhampton branch where Maximus received all of his exceptional care. The total profit will be split 50 50. You all obviously know that any funds raised for SCRT go on to help as many cats in need as possible. What you might not know, is what the White Cross Fund does. The White Cross Fund is used in exceptional circumstances to help people on a low income, when they simply cannot afford lifesaving treatment. The White Cross Fund does not cover the entire bill, it merely contributes..... But this makes a MASSIVE difference to so many little lives. On top of this, the White Cross Fund is also used for any stray animals, or wildlife that comes in. A lot of veterinary practices euthanize wildlife because they simply cannot fund the treatment. White Cross Vets Wolverhampton do their best to rehabilitate all wildlife, and all stray animals. Every animal is treated the same. Without funds, it is very difficult to help the animals who do not have an owner to financially support them. The fund is at the moment almost empty, and it is something Amy is passionate about. Baring in mind the effort and dedication she put into Maximus and his care, I really hope we can raise as much as possible for this worthy cause, as well as the future cats coming into our care. Special thanks to Shizico.
