My name is Jackson, I am setting up this fundraiser to raise money for BLACK MINDS MATTER, it is a charity close to my heart and important to my community. I work for Kimber Skate Park as a skate instructor, working with young people in Wandsworth every day. This is where I create my designs, recycling broken and often discarded skateboards to produce anything that comes to mind including tables, jewellery, lamps and coat racks. This past year has been a time of turmoil for those in the BAME communities, in relation to the BLM protests and the impact of Coronavirus, it is a time to show support and solidarity and I believe that the work that WCEN carry out is very important to this. I also believe that mental health is more important than ever during difficult times, it is important to reach out and support our communities, so if you can please donate! This fundraiser will be in the form of a raffle to win one of my handmade recycled skateboard tables (see photo or head to my instagram to see a bit more about what I do @torrboards). To enter and be in with a chance to win, please donate £10 to my fundraiser and I will pick a name random from those who donated, so make sure to leave your name if you'd like to enter. Of course, if you can, feel free to donate more than £10. I'll announce the winner 15th December, and aim to have the table over to you in time for Christmas. Good luck!

I make tables and other pieces of furniture out of skateboard wood that is often discarded. These tables are perfect for a side table in the living room or a bedside table. Each table is completely unique and handmade.
