A lovely donation from Sans Store - the independent grocery store - selling a delicious selection of veggie, vegan, organic and free-from, dry-store and refrigerated items all hand-picked artisan local produce from across London and the UK. We were delighted to be given this beautiful cookbook signed exclusively by Yotam Ottolenghi for Sydenham School fundraising. Ottolenghi Simple is bursting with colourful photography, showcasing Yotam's standout dishes that will suit whatever type of cooking you find easy. The brilliant, flavour-forward recipes, are all simple and coded so you can select; Short on time, 1 -10 ingredients, Lazy or Make ahead. What more does a busy family need?! Founded in 2015 by Vicky Skingley, Good Food was crowdfunded by 350 local residents and businesses. Local residents were tired of losing high street shops to residential conversions and residents surveys identified a real hunger for a better local shopping experience. Good Food are a Social Enterprise; that means all the money you spend in-store is reinvested in the business, and goes to pay the London Living Wage and to improve service Good Food, new to Sydenham High Street this year have kindly donated a lovely selection of 6 jams and chutneys, great for the festive season.

It’s also a unique outlet for creative and entrepreneurial Lewishamites including Brockley Brewery, Good & Proper Tea, Pat & Pinky’s, Mont 58, Catford Dogs and Sophie Home who have worked with House of Lewisham to create exclusive collaborations that you won’t find anywhere else.
