There are two prizes for a trip on the Steam Tug Challenge on the 19th December 2020. Challenge will set off between 9.30 - 10 am and sail for about 4 hours returning at around 2 pm. It should be a great trip. You will see the engine and all the ancillary machinery working and visit the bridge. This is an opportunity for all steam enthusiasts, particularly marine steam entusiasts to see Challenge in all her glory. Note that Challenge was a working vessel and can be quite dirty with the oil from the engine and machinery. Also the steps are quite steep for some users so please bear these points in mind and dress accordingly. Note therfore that we cannot accept any liability for any injuries sustained on board during your vist. The draw in on Wednesday 16th Dec, and the lucky winner will be contacted for details on how to get to the berth.
