The Wright Family moved to Millbrook in 1971. The buildings needed extensive renovation and required financing, so Mr & Mrs Wright started growing vegetables to sell both to the trade and the public. Through the following three decades, the business has evolved and grown to cover the whole seven acre site. The family continue to run the Garden Centre, with daughter Sarah in charge of Summer basket/bedding plants, and son-in-law Ian managing the accounts. We are a traditional garden centre, our passion is to help you get your garden growing. We know what grows in this area, and how to look after your plants. We do not stock china or chocolates, just tools, plants, compost, and building materials! We are local, our staff all live within 4 miles, and most have grown up here. They are proud of the business, and we are proud of them. We know that we can help you with any gardening problems, and we will not sell you a 'quick fix'.
