An exiting one-off item for any Metallica fan. The pictures speak for themselves, but here's the story behind it. December 20th 1984, I was 15, my older brother took me to see an unheard of American band of spotty teenagers called Metallica at the small Lyceum Ballroom in London. I was too young to get in, but he managed to do it! I was pinged around in the crowd like a rag-doll, but survived, just. Post-show about 20 of us hung around and out the band eventually wandered. They spoke to us for a few minutes and signed our stuff. I remember they were very drunk, particularly James, he could barely speak!. As they walked away, Cliff patted me on the head like I was a puppy. None of knew what they would become. They were just another night of live music to us. It did spark my love for the band though. We found them again half an hour later in a nearby pub drinking with some other fans who were in there. Sounds unbelievable, but that's what happened. What makes this so special apart from Cliff's signature? James scrawled the now infamous 'MUYFA!' and Lars wrote 'Vods Tour 84!' in reference to the bands then-love for vodka. Condition can be seen in the photos. It's not perfect, has some dinks, scuffs, and the inner sleeve has seen better days with period-repairs. The signatures are as genuine as they get, and make this a truly stand-out piece. I will pay shipping worldwide with tracking. Insurance can be added at buyers expense.
