PICK BLUE when asked to answer a question! Supporting Care4Calais emergency fundraising for the residents of Napier Barracks. Since September last year, the government has been using decommissioned army barracks to house people seeking asylum. There is no access to adequate healthcare, legal advice and the conditions are disgraceful - wreaking havoc on the mental health of the detainees who are already incredibly vulnerable. There has been a Covid-19 outbreak, with unsafe conditions and reports of no social distancing possible. It is believed up to 200 out of 400 residents tested positive. A fire also recently broke out and subsequently there has been no access to hot water or electricity since. This raffle is supporting the Care4Calais fund to get emergency provisions into the camp.
