Curious Kids Town For our little friends aspiring to work for the NHS we would like to donate a BigJigs Toys pretend wooden doctor's kit together with a dressing up costume and a gift voucher to come and play at our little imaginary role play town. Opened in 2018 Curious Kids Town is the Sheffield City Region’s first role play centre aimed at pre-school children and their carers to delight in the imagination of pretend play.

The main purpose of our charity is to offer support and a creative outlet to people who struggle with mental health difficulties. As an arts and well-being centre we provide various art and well-being programmes including pottery, painting and drawing techniques that help participants to improve their confidence, learn new skills and aid them with individual recovery and progression paths. We specifically work with marginalized groups within Sheffield and the surrounding South Yorkshire communities. We operate as a social enterprise in order to be as financially independent (and therefore sustainable) as possible. Our commercial activities including a vegetarian café (with wholly vegan cake counter), room and exhibition hire, and facilitating commercial classes for both adults and children provide the income to support our charitable work. The Art House is a safe space for everyone to enjoy.

We had to pretty much rethink our entire business after the lockdown as pretty much all weddings and parties were off, so we upped our game with selling our gluten-free gourmet flapjacks (now with all flavours being available as vegan too) online. It’s going pretty well and keeping us afloat but we would love to get our name out there further.
