A Veterans Best Friend is a charity that provides companion/assistance dogs (rescue dogs) to Scottish Armed Forces Veterans'. They have recently teamed up with Perrera Dogs UK, to train Rescue Dogs from Romania as Assistance Dogs. Joanne Rowland Art would LOVE to raise funds to sponsor a Perrera Pup, for this wonderful partnership. Joanne's own dog, Daphne, is a recent adoption from Perrera, and the idea of saving a dog, to save a veteran is something very close to home for Joanne, being a Military Wife of many years herself. Our Prize is a bespoke, fine art, coloured pencil, pet portrait drawn from your own photographs, worth up to £205. We only need to raise £400 to reach our goal, and fully fund a Perrera Rescue to become a Veterans Best Friend. The raffle will end upon the successful sale of 200 tickets, or 31st August 2021, whichever is sooner.
