Singleton and his team-mates were on the right side of a 19-6 win in the Betfred Super League encounter on Thursday 15th April and not only was it the first time that the purple alternative shirt was worn in a competitive fixture, this shirt in particular was especially unique, being adorned with a special Motor Neurone Disease Association patch to mark his decision to make it a fundraising item for the vital charity.
