Registered Charity Number 1166180. Skanda Vale Hospice is an independent, volunteer led respite hospice, offering care and support to families affected by life-limiting illnesses, completely free of charge. Our usual services include inpatient respite, assisted bathing, day hospice, patient transport and complementary therapies. We are currently closed due to the high vulnerability of our patients and many of our volunteers. We need to keep up the fundraising though as so many of our regular fundraising events have been cancelled and we cannot benefit from many grants as we are not currently open.
