My friends at WayOut Arts in Sierra Leone are being forced to relocate. The extra costs associated with moving the whole operation have come at a dreadful time, with everything else happening in the world. We need to help them out; otherwise the project will have to close down and won't be able to help all the people they usually help, some of the most marginalised (and talented) people I've ever met. SO! £1 entry, and the prize is a guitar I BUILT MYSELF OVER LOCKDOWN! Only one of these exists. Enter as many times as you like. This guitar is one of a kind. It's a black woodstain SG electric guitar with 2 humbucker pickups. I built it myself from a kit during the first lockdown in 2020; the body and neck were pre-made, I painted / sanded / bolted / wired it. It has a hand-drawn FTHC logo on the headstock. The guitar works fine. I'm not going to say it's the best guitar in the world, it's very light, could probably do with a proper setup (intonation and so on). But it sounds good and plays well enough. This is the only one of these in existence. I built it on my own. I have used it on some recordings, not least quite a lot of my new (forthcoming 9th) album, including the single "The Gathering".
