Raffle Summary
This raffle has been set up to raise urgent funds to help to give my 4 year old niece the BEST chance of beating Neuroblastoma, a very rare & aggressive form of childhood cancer. Her diagnosis is "stage 4 high-risk" which means her fight is longer & harder, and her chance of beating the disease is significantly less. Evelyn faces: * six rounds of 'normal' chemotherapy *surgery to remove a large tumour *high-dose chemotherapy *bone marrow transplants and then - if she is lucky & can get to this stage * immunotherapy (where you try to teach the body to recognise and fight the cancer cells itself) *acceptance onto a trial in New York for a series of newly developed vaccines which are showing promising results in preventing relapse. Bivalent vaccine trial through Sloan-Kettering hospital in New York. Immunotherapy has been shown to increase the chances of not relapsing by 20%, and the vaccine trial is showing promising results that it can increase this even further All of the prizes have been very generously donated by incredibly friends, local business and the amazing community I live in who all want to help! I am incredibly grateful, now time to raise some money and save EVELYN!
