Strathaven Balloon Festival - Fri 28th to Sun 30th August 2020. The festival now attracts pilots and visitors from all over Europe with over 25,000 spectators attending over the weekend. What will you win? - Dinner, bed & breakfast and tickets for The Frets concert, for 2 people, at the Strathaven Hotel on the evening of Friday 28th August, a flight for up to 2 people in a hot air balloon and premium placing during the evening glow at the festival on Saturday 29th August 2020. More info at:- www.strathavenballoonfestival.co.uk www.strathavenhotel.com Please ensure you and 2nd passenger can confirm the following questions to allow you to win this package:- * I am over 16 * I am not pregnant * I have no known medical condition which would prevent me from flying (check with your GP) (includes COVID-19) * I am not taking any medication which may prevent me from flying (check with your GP) * I have not undergone any recent major surgery (prior to the flight - check with your GP) Flights are very much weather dependant and can only take place either early morning (6am ish) or early evening (6pm ish) when the weather and wind conditions are most stable, with no thermal activity from the sun. If for any reason the flights are cancelled on 29th we will try to accommodate your flights on either the Sun morning or evening. Please be aware that depending on circumstances and weather conditions on the day the winners may not be able to travel in the same balloon so please be prepared to be separated into 2 balloons. If conditions dictate that flights can not take place during the festival flights will be arranged at an alternative date with our local balloon pilot. There is no cash alternative offered for this package. Winner to claim prize and contact via Raffall as soon as possible after draw has taken place. Organisers can then confirm and provide full details and what to expect. The Strathaven Balloon Festival, is non-profit and a registered Scottish Charity (SC046563), which has a small core team of committee members who work hard to raise money to cover the costs of the annual event.
