Win Pippa's Help for Heroes Dress
Sweepstake Summary
This is a one off dress designed and made by Pippa Longhurst a 16 year old student from Colchester. The Textiles examination board asked for the student to design and make a dress with either a promotional or film theme in mind. Pippa chose the Help for Heroes charity. The inspiration of the dress was from the 51 soldier sculptures created and installed by the steel fabricator Duncan Pittock in Mersea and Peldon. The colours used were that of the the charity. She designed 4 different dresses and the final design was a combination of two of them.

This is a one off dress designed and made by Pippa Longhurst a 16 year old student from Colchester. ALL proceeds of the raffle will be donated to The Help for Heroes Charity It was made to fit Pippa (size 10) The actual measures are attached to the photo images. The dress is long and sleeveless with a side zip and popper neck fastening. The main body of the dress is satin with a chiffon halter neck overlay overlay. Please note and have in mind that this was made by a 16 year old for her Textiles examination. It had viral social media interest nationally and internationally - Help the Heroes alone had over 25k likes on their Facebook page. This is not absolutely perfect but because of the huge interest Pippa wanted to donate her dress to raise funds for the charity.
