  • Description In a nutshell: An admirable Single Quinta Vintage Port from the oldest British Port House. The lowdown: Single Quinta Vintage Ports are made in a similar way to other Vintage Ports in that they're bottled, without filtration, after a couple or so years in barrel and continue to mature in bottle from there. They will have a sediment and so should be decanted before drinking. Quinta da Cavadinha is one of Warre's best and most reliable estates and, outside of vintage years, its wines are frequently released as single quinta vintages. It's a delicious port with flavours of mulberry, raisins and prunes that's now mellowed elegantly. When to drink: Now ready for drinking it will be a very fulfilling port and is terrific with mature hard cheeses.

  • Nestled in the verdant foothills of the Pyrenees, Domaine Cauhape is among France’s top sweet wine producers. Harnessing altitude, soil and climate to produce dessert wines of rare freshness. Here, Petit Manseng is left on the vine until November to concentrate the natural sugars, and then hand-harvested from tiny yields. The fruit is vinified in oak and matured for 18 months before bottling. Due to the proximity of the mountain range, with its accompanying high altitude, and cool temperatures, Jurancon Moelleux is blessed with a naturally high acidity – delivering aromatic notes of crisp quince and pineapple with a fresh zingy finish on the palate. Best served chilled in a wide wine glass, this dessert wine is the perfect companion for sheep’s cheese, nougat and tarte tartin.

  • The domaine that produces our Pouilly-Fumé has belonged to the Chatelain family since 1630. It is located just north of the small market town of Pouilly-sur-Loire with the classic terroir of limestone and kimmeridgian clay. Now in the eleventh generation, Jean-Claude is a master at producing unoaked wine that has both purity of fruit and the typical “gun-flint” character of Pouilly-Fumé. Our Pouilly-Fumé is a wonderful example of why wines from the appellation are so sought after – it positively bursts with fruit whilst remaining supremely elegant.

  • It all started in 2003 when four friends met at the Royal College of Art in London. They designed a revolutionary new chicken house which made it simpler to keep chickens in gardens. It looked rather like an igloo and in a moment of punning genius that would define the next generation of chicken keepers, they named it the Eglu and an icon was born. Since then Omlet’s designs have delighted thousands of pets and their owners around the world through their uncompromising attention to detail and innovative ideas.
