This raffle is raising funds to support Teenage Cancer Trust. Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. All proceeds from our raffle will go to Teenage Cancer Trust - the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need - so no young person faces cancer alone. To capture the imaginations of you kind folk spending your hard-earned cash on raffle tickets, we reached out to our stompbox builder friends at Pedal Pawn to see if we could make something a bit fun and totally unique. This is the only Lego in history that doesn’t hurt to step on! Pedal Pawn have very kindly designed and assembled a collection of guitar pedals based on iconic effects. Only one of each pedal exists worldwide. These are true collector’s items. This pedal takes inspiration from the Rangemaster Treble Booster, the holy grail of classic guitar effects! Simple in practice but rich in tone, the original Treble Booster and its many copies have been used by the likes of Tony Iommi, Brian May and Rory Gallagher to brighten up a bassy amp. It taps into neglected frequencies, adding extraordinary colour and vibrancy. And yes - it is made of real Lego! The only difference being Pedal Pawn have glued each brick together to ensure it doesn’t smash as soon as you hit the bypass switch. Inside is Pedal Pawn’s own circuit created from the ground up.
