Recently Tony Johnson lost his life after attending a football match. We are doing this raffle to generate funds for Tonys family but also to generate awareness of violence in sport. This shirt was donated by a Blackburn Rovers FC fan, yes the shirt wasn't to his taste and in away he was probably glad to let it go. However he did so for free, he also did so ensuring it was used to raise funds for Tonys family and he purchased tickets as well. This fan reminds us that football is one community and although we are all very angry and sad with whats happend we are reminded that rivalries aside we are one. Lets ensure we all remeber Tony and those who have lost there lives to football violence and remember we should all come home and return the following Saturday.
