This lovely little dagger is made from Obsidian called electric blue sourced from California in the mountains, its incredibly hard to find and I have only had the chance to knapp a few slices of it in my life. I have set it into a red deer antler handle glued with pine pitch glue to give it a great look. The sheath is made from red deer skin that I tanned using ancient methods known as brain tanning and then went on to stitch it together with sinew also from the red deer. This is a totally one of a kind production and will be a treasure for the winner to own.

Silver banded Obsidian from America set into a Burr wood handle set with Pine pitch glue. The sheath is made from Python skin that was killed by a friend of mine in Africa about 40 years ago, that has been backed with deer skin to give it some extra strength tanned my myself using ancient tanning methods.

This is the first time I have seen Obsidian like this, it have a kind of Opal effect in the colouring with a blue teal and pink effect going on. I have set it into a Burr Elm handle and then given it a buckskin sheath, leather that I have taken the time to produce myself using ancient traditional methods.
