Thanks to one of our generous supporters we are delighted to offer VIP Take That tickets for their performance at Hyde Park on Saturday 1st July. Other performances include The Script, Sugababes, Will Young, Aly & AJ, Here at Last, Sonny Tennet and Jazmine Flowers. All money raised will go to The Percy Hedley Foundation (charity no. 515943) The Percy Hedley Foundation was formed by parents in 1953, as a special school for 12 children with cerebral palsy. Molly and Stephen Darke campaigned for the school after their son, Stephen, was born with the condition, and so started their mission to help their child reach his full potential. We’ve continued with that mission, and over the years we have extended and developed the work we do to make sure children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities get the best specialist care, education and opportunities. 70 years later, and we now have 1100 staff supporting over 650 members and their families every week, through two schools, a college, an adult learning programme, and four specialist residential homes. We have delivered over 30 million hours of care, education, therapy and nursing so far, with over 1.2million hours delivered in 2022 alone.
