Sure, we can plant the right kind of flowers, take part in no-mow May, avoid using indiscriminate pesticides, and try to coax others to do the same. We can sign petitions, those of is with the access to do so can create mini-habitats as refuges for bees too. All these are great and worthwhile things. I have made this piece from my collected stashes of amber glass and decorative chain, and added a glass BEEad made for me by one of my all time favourite lampworkers. These BEEads are no longer available as sadly, dear Laney has finally hung up her torch.
