This beautiful book was created by the great chromolithograph maker, Lewis Prang in 1864. It is not a book of chromolithographs. Instead, it is a book of pressed flowers perfectly pressed. A rare talent back then and probably impossible to do with this quality today. It is certainly a handmade book and I think it is one-of-a-kind. It is beautiful to hold and to have on your desk or in your library and I have kept it in my library for more than 55 years. At 82, I am focusing on my YouTube videos and attempting to raise funds to keep on presenting them. Hence I am putting up this wonderful handcrafted book, Louis Prang at his grandest.
