Cook to Care is hosting Supper Clubs on the 13th and 20th November 2023 at Jumbi, Peckham for Palestine. The event will undoubtedly be one of our most poignant Supper Clubs yet, ensuring we raise awareness of 75 years of oppression while constructing the foundation for change, during a time of such disparity. The funds raised from the supper club and raffle will be spread across Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and other projects already on the ground. Jojo Sureh, Cook to Care's founder has always been galvanised in both local and world activism, and since a child has been protesting for a Free Palestine. To honour the culinary roots of Palestine, Cook to Care (www.cooktocare.co.uk) will be collaborating with British Palestinian baker, Bunhead Bakes (www.bunheadbakes.com) for the desserts. There will be music, talks and surprises, ensuring that everyone will unite on a night that educates and encourages provoking conversation. Raffle ticket is only £5.
