Raffle Summary

We opened Pidgin in 2015 with the simple aim of serving a weekly changing, never repeating, four-course menu. Over the years this has evolved and developed and, while maintaining the original ethos, become something more akin to a full tasting menu. Which has been great! We've got an amazing team and a brilliant and - we think - well deserved reputation. But the world has changed. And over the past 18 months it has become increasingly clear to us that there is less demand for this kind of eating. It feels like London wants something more low-key, buzzy, and communal. And so do we. So from the beginning of 2024 we'll be taking Pidgin back to its origins. There will be four courses. The menu will change every week, and not repeat (and cost considerably less than it currently does). Wine and cocktails will be awesome and approachable. There will be semi-gonzo extras available for those who still like to blow the doors off. Hey, you may even be asked to keep your cutlery between courses. We're raising these funds to carry out an extensive refurbishment of the dining room and kitchen, improve our outdoor dining area, fix a few things that are long overdue fixing, deal with Long Covid legacy debts, and give this small and unassuming neighbourhood restaurant and its staff and guests the brightest possible future. Every penny over our target of £100k will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

52 Prizes

  • You and 23 friends have the restaurant to yourselves for an entire evening. A small number of Ts and Cs apply but basically you can blow the doors off. Hopefully not literally.

An evening at Pidgin never disappoints! The food is always varied and exciting with gorgeous wine to match and accompanied by a chill, unstuffy atmosphere. Best enjoyed as a pair, it's an intimate, must-visit in East London.
