Raffle Summary

This is a ***Guaranteed Prize*** No matter how many or how few tickets are sold Sought-after Blue Peter carded Olympic Athletics 50p from 2009. This coin is offered sealed in a blue card sleeve printed ‘BLUE PETER 50p – WINNER’S EDITION’. The back includes information on the design and the designer. While the circulating Athletics 50p coins are fairly common with 2,224,000 issued, these Blue Peter branded coin packs only had 19,722 issued. Dated 2009 this design was the first of 29 officially licensed London 2012 Olympics coins to be revealed by The Royal Mint. Regular circulated editions were issued in 2011. The Athletics 50p design was created by 8-year-old Florence Jackson from Bristol. She entered her high jump themed drawing to a Blue Peter competition and was chosen from over 17,000 entries. Florence remains the youngest Brit to have her design used on official UK coinage. The pre-owned coin in this Blue Peter presentation card has the same size and composition as the coins found in your change but retains a brilliant uncirculated finish, thanks to the protective capsule built into the packaging. The prize is guaranteed regardless of how many tickets sell. The winner will be expected to pay the postage - We will give the winner a link to pay the postage UK: Royal Mail Special Delivery £9 Overseas: International Tracked and Signed £20
