RITUAL: THE REUNION FRIDAY 7th JUNE 2024 NORTHALLERTON FOOTBALL CLUB, ROMANBY 8PM - MIDNIGHT £5 ON THE DOOR Northallerton in the early 2000s had a thriving alternative scene - town and the surrounding area was full of skaters, punks, goths, rockers & boggers! It was a wicked time to be young and reckless, but we didn't have anywhere to go... This was where Ritual was born - a weekly alternative club night held in Elders back room or at Northallerton Football Club, with DJs playing all the best in alternative music every Friday night. Ritual was a place for those who didn't belong, For the outsiders For the freaks It was home for a lot of us, for a long time. A place to go once a week to drink Antifreeze cocktails, mosh till you broke your neck and forget all your worries. There have been a number of iterations of Ritual over the years, but the original was born in the early noughties, and Krissie Newton, who we sadly said goodbye to at the end of 2023, was one of the original founders. So we're dusting off all the old songs, digging out some new ones and bringing Ritual back, for 'Ritual:The Reunion', in Krissie's honour. All of the proceeds from the night and the raffles will be going directly to Krissie's three children. So get yourselves along to Northallerton Football Club on Friday 7th June 2024 at 8pm for a chance to unplug & log out from 2024 and go back to our youth, where your phone was a Nokia 3310 and you had a lot less responsibilities.
