All donations will go towards the care of a ex racehorse who has finished their racing career. A lot of these ex athletes finish their jobs and unless they can be bred with they are needing new normal homes. Unfortunately you can’t just let them go to a new home without a rehabilitation programme in place for the injured who need time off to heal and to learn a new trade. This stops lots ending up in slaughter. Donations help towards vets, farrier, bedding and food and medical things they may need. This helps us retrain them with the correct time. If you’ve ever enjoyed a day at the races this is a cause for you. What do you think happens to the ones that are too slow? A lot that are sold fast from the racing yards end up in a bad situation due to not being retrained properly or with the correct knowledgeable people.
