Once again I'm raffling off a chair I've made to raise money for my local food banks. All the money raised after this site takes its cut is used to buy items at one of my local supermarkets to go in the food bank basket. Usually I fill a trolley and leave it there, much to the amazement of the shop staff. Which is a nice feeling.

A Welsh stick style chair made of Alder for the seat and crest, and Ash for the legs and back spindles. The seat is made of one board sawn in two, then edge jointed together, with butterfly keys underneath to help hold it together. I have carved a subtle saddle in to the seat, which makes it quite comfortable. I have tried to use mostly hand tools on this chair, so there are tool marks, even where I've had to sand some parts due to the trusty grain of the Alder. I am by no means a professional chair maker, I'm just trying to help people out. Dimensions: Overall height 945mm Seat height 450mm Width 465mm Depth 445mm With this being a complete chair postage/shipping is not an option. Please keep that in mind when buying a ticket. It can be collected from my house or I can meet you half way somewhere to drop the chair to you. If you win the chair but cannot collect a new winner will be selected.
