A raffle to raise a donation for Mermaids UK. Running with two separate prizes: A trans equality Santoku or a guided tasting at the BRZN arms, Brighton. Alex at BRZN has been incredibly generous and covered the cost of making this blade and even put more money on top for the charity. All the money received from this event will be donated to Mermaids upon completion. The Santoku's forged by hand with layers of Sheffcut and Copper by myself in Stanmer Park, East Sussex. Sheffcut being a British made high carbon steel, similar to spicy white (26c3). 5' blade with a 2' heel. this knife will tackle most tasks at home easily. In a world where trans lives are kicked around as a political football, rather than being treated like human, it is sometimes difficult to look at the road ahead positively. With this small gesture, I hope I can shoot a wee flare of hope and inspire others to do the same too. You are not alone.

This knife was hand-forged from layers of Sheffcut high carbon steel and copper. A custom handle of the trans flag colours, laser etched with the Trans equality symbol.
