We are running this raffle to raise money for a local charity BacZac His Legacy, in memory of Will Young, a local Star Wars Legion player in Milton Keynes. BacZac His Legacy looks to support young adults suffering from cancer and has been chosen by Will's parents, Ali and Susan Young. More information on the charity can be found here: https://www.baczachislegacy.org/ Will was a young man who was full of fun and a zest for life. He loved making people laugh, to be honest he loved making himself laugh. Will was a positive young man who was diagnosed with Leukaemia in March 2020. His sense of humour & his positivity got him through and he rang the bell in March 2022. He started a job with a company in MK, Helix, which he loved. It was there he was also introduced to Stars Wars Legion by his colleagues. He really embraced it and he was just getting going when he relapsed in January 2023. Unfortunately, he was quite poorly and ended up having a Bone Marrow Transplant in August 2023. This meant he was isolated for a long time. Painting his figures and with the knowledge he could go back to playing get Will focused. He managed a few visits to MK before he became too poorly. Will died on 2nd May 2024 aged just 23. He lived his life to the full, never complained and always wanted to do right by everyone. He was a character who once met, you never forgot. He would be so pleased that his Legion armies were being used and hopefully winning battles! The winner will receive all Will's collection (detailed on in the prize section) and we will cover the cost of postage wherever it is required, worldwide.
