Royal Turnberry is a links course on the Ayrshire coast in Southwestern Scotland. This is where the famous ‘Duel in the Sun’ Open Championship took place in 1977 when Tom Watson bear Jack Nicklaus. The last Open Championship that was held there in 2009 was won by Stewart Cink.
