In Saturday's game between Coventry Blaze and Kyiv Capitals at Skydome Arena (7th September 24), Blaze players #9 Jackson Cressey and #16 Kim Tallberg will each wear a special edition Blaze jersey with our logo in the colours of the Ukrainian flag. This gesture serves as a symbol of respect and support for the Ukrainian people during these challenging times. By wearing the Ukrainian-coloured badge, we aim to stand in solidarity with our Ukrainian opponents, emphasising that, despite the competitive nature of sport, unity and compassion is an important part of our great sport. Both Game Worn jerseys will be raffled online with all profits donated to Kryzhynka Kids Hockey School. Tickets are £2 and the raffle will end at 1pm on Sunday 8th September. The lucky winners will be able to collect their jersey from the FanHub during Sunday’s game. Alternatively, collection can be made during another Blaze game, or we can post for free within the UK.
