In January 2021 Mike was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer at the tender age of 42. Sadly, Mike lost his battle on the 2nd of May 2024 after battling courageously with the most positive attitude in extremely challenging circumstances. Mike lived at home in Dalgety Bay, a small town coastal town on the firth of forth ten miles north of Edinburgh, with his wife Amy and three children, Connor, Jamie and Chloe. Mike’s passion was football and was actively involved in coaching the junior football team where one of his sons played. For those who worked with Mike and knew him, he brought super positivity and energy to the task in hand and always made time to chew the fat or even putting the world to rights. He was often the ’go-to’ for newer team members where he would coach and support them on what good looked like, a true team player. I'd like to you to consider buying a raffle ticket which all funds will be donated to Fifes Health Charity. This charity supported Mike and his lovely family along with hundreds of others to support future research and technology to prevent cancer in others. Any prizes won are to be collected from your nearest Amazon site.
