Sweepstake Summary

By entering this prize competition, you support The Trussell Trust, an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks in the UK providing practical support to people who can't afford the essentials. All proceeds, minus platform fees, payment charges and postage costs, go directly to this amazing charity that campaigns for a future where nobody needs to use emergency food to get by. Prizes are a mix of review and prototype copies I received for free and games that were donated. Prototypes and review copies have been played a few times, but are all in very good condition and every game is complete. Other games may be new or used. Please check the description for each prize for more details. Some games were donated by Steery and Travel-Games.co.uk. Please spread the word and share this raffle on social media using the link https://tabletopgamesblog.com/raffle NOTE: UK mainland postage is included, but postage to other locations has to be paid by the winner of the prize. Local pick-up is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.

6 Prizes

  • Sakana Stack is a climbing/shedding card game where players are playing Stacks of seafood from their hand with the aim of having the most valuable Stack in play. Stacks can be played of matching numbers, but they must match the last played card by suit or number. Players score the top card from their Stack if the next player passes, so the bigger the Stack the higher the scoring opportunity. Play continues until a player sheds all cards in their hand, or the draw pile runs out twice and all cards scored are counted and recorded. Play a number of rounds equal to the number of players to determine the most successful Market Vendor. This is a review copy of the game that has been played a few times, but is in great condition.

  • In Rolling Realms Redux, players compete to earn the most stars over 3 rounds in a series of minigames. (There are 12 different “realms” included in the game.) This is a roll-and-write game, meaning that players will write on the game components using dry-erase markers. Each turn, one player rolls 2 dice, and all players use the dice results on their realm cards to generate resources and earn stars. After 3 rounds, the player with the most stars wins! Rolling Realms Redux is a standalone game, and it includes everything you need to play up to 6 players. It features the same rules and full compatibility with its predecessor, Rolling Realms, but with 12 new realms inspired by popular games from other publishers, a printed version of the living rulebook that will include explanations for all realms (original, new, and promo), with everything in a box designed to fit all realms ever printed. All 12 realms in Rolling Realms Redux are 100% new and unique to this specific product. This is a review copy of the game that has been played a few times, but is in great condition.

  • Somewhere on a doomed and distant planet, life has emerged, competing for supremacy until the world’s inevitable destruction. The object of the game is to score the most points by the time the world ends. Score points by playing Traits for your Doomlings’ species, making them more adaptable, resilient, and mischievous. As your Doomlings assert their dominance, Catastrophes will befall the planet, causing setbacks for each competing species. When the third Catastrophe inevitably strikes, the world ends, and the Doomlings with the strongest set of traits gets to look the Apocalypse in the eye and declare…“I scored the most points!” Throughout the game, players draw Trait cards from a community pile, and then play them for points. Traits can also have special abilities and bonuses, allowing players to build a wide range of winning combinations. The game is played in rounds, using Age cards, which have different rules that players must follow. But be warned, hidden in the Ages are Catastrophes: special rounds with adverse effects that force players to adapt their strategy. Doomlings adds a fun twist to hand management, by introducing the “Gene Pool” mechanic. Your Gene Pool is your hand size: it is unique to you, and it can increase or decrease through special Traits, or even Catastrophes. Doomlings includes 6 colorful Gene Pool counter cards, elegantly tracking how many cards you should hold at the end of your turn. There are opportunities to increase your Gene Pool (hand size), which can give your species a leg up by providing a larger pool of Traits to select from each turn. A lightweight card game for 2-6 players, Doomlings can be played casually amongst friends, or competitively by the gaming enthusiast family. Because there are no duplicate cards, and Age cards are chosen randomly, no two games are ever the same. While the game itself can be learned in 5 minutes or less, don’t be fooled: with 100+ unique Traits—in Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Colorless—and rare, powerful Dominant Traits, there are countless combinations of play to be discovered. A typical game takes between 20-45 minutes, depending on the number of players and sequence of events. Advanced-play expansion packs are also available, including a Hidden Objective expansion for a fun twist to the game. Doomlings requires no dice or additional pieces, just a jolly embrace of the inevitable end of the world! This is a review copy of the game that has been played a few times, but is in great condition.

  • Each Doomlings: Overlush Mystery Expansion Box will come with 4 packs, each containing 15 cards. The exact cards in each pack are a mystery. All Overlush cards are divided into a new 5-tier rarity system. The first 7 cards you’ll see when you open a pack will be from the Common tier. These are standard traits and ages to expand your Doomlings experience. The next 5 are Unusual cards. The traits and ages in this tier feature more intricate effects for seasoned Doomlings players. The 2 cards that precede the final card will be from 1 of 3 tiers: Scarce, the first tier with dominant traits; Endangered, featuring more unique and exciting cards; and Legendary, a tier reserved for the most elusive traits and ages. The last card in every pack will be a guaranteed holofoil version of any 1 of the 170+ cards in the Overlush collection. It can be a trait or age from any of the aforementioned rarity tiers. Doomlings: Overlush Mystery Expansion Boxes are designed to work just like any other expansion: simply open your packs, add the cards to your game, and you're ready to play!
