This year Reed are supporting 'Prevent Breast Cancer' as their chosen charity in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. Prevent Breast Cancer are the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer – committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Unlike many cancer charities, they are focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, they believe they can stop the problem before it starts. Where your money will go: Prevent Breast Cancer urgently need your support to raise the final £500,000 to build their National Breast Imaging Academy. Breast units continue to close across the UK, causing devastating delays in diagnosis and treatment. The Academy will ensure 13,000 additional women in Manchester will have essential access to their mammograms and follow-up appointments each year. Your donation, no matter the size, will help ensure you and your loved ones receive the healthcare you need precisely when it matters most.
