Win My 1971 Fender Stratocaster

Sweepstake Summary
1971 Fender Stratocaster Olympic White, with black scratch plate... 4 bolt neck plate Big headstock Skunk stripe on neck Original case. This is the same year that all of Yngwie’s strats are; it’s my personal favourite year for strats. Big 70s headstock so it looks all Hendrix-y. No compromise on the 4 bolt neck plate, so you get all the looks of the 70s with the build quality of the 60s. This one was previously owned by a bluesman from the south (of England) and it has heavily aged. That’s what drew me to it when I bought it in 2008. This is not a memorabilia item as such, I’ve never used it live because I always felt it too precious for the road. You’ll hear it on the Hot Leg album and on various other recordings since that time; it’s a beautiful guitar and it plays like butter. I used to call this one the song catcher, because if I was looking for inspiration I could always rely on it to provide! Please, to enjoy.
