My name is Maisie and I am a student at Inverkeithing High School. This Summer I am participating in a volunteer expedition to Cambodia with Camps International. This will be a month long trip and will include community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. It will also include additional elements such as jungle trek and temple visits and the opportunity to meet and learn from local people. The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to: - Raise the educational and living standards of developing communities within a rural district of Cambodia - Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats. This expedition is important to me because I feel that it will help me develop important life skills such as teamwork and resilience and also be able to learn about and appreciate another culture. To help with my fundraising I am raffling off 2 standing tickets for the OASIS reunion tour at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh on the 8th of August 2025. The tickets will be available to transfer via app 1 week before the concert.
