The big spring raffle is here!! Three prizes up for grabs this time, all different flavours of Gyuto, so two more chances to win a gyuto than you might usually have!   • Produced as a collaboration between No Joke Knives and the Rockchop Knife Co, this gyuto straddles the line between a gyuto proper, and a large petty. Would make an excellent pick up for anyone looking to add a slightly smaller workhorse gyuto to their collection. Stats: - 209mm usable length, 220mm total, 51mm tall at the heel - Distal taper through the spine from 4mm to 0.5mm at the tip - 26C3 core, with dirty wrought iron cladding - Hand polished and flattened bevels - 147 x 25 x 23mm Australian Sheoak handle - Weighs a total of 184g

  • Clad in 360 layers of 15n20 and EN42J, the cladding for this knife was created from usable off cuts and bits of scrap assembled from various other knife making processes, in an attempt to reduce the amount of waste the workshop creates. Would make a great pickup for anyone looking to add a damascus "san-mai" to their collection. Stats: - 220mm usable length, 230mm total length, being 53mm tall at the heel - Distal taper through the spine from 5mm down to 0.5 at the tip - 140 x 25 x 24mm bog oak handle, carbon dated to 3300 BC - Hand flattened bevels - total weight of 212g
