We’re the only shelter for girls left in Kawempe. Since aid cuts closed every other refuge, more girls are turning to us. But we don’t have enough beds or facilities to take them all—and legally, we can’t accept more than we can safely care for. And the alternative? An empty shipping container at the local police station. Or being locked up in a cell with adults. You can help us change that.
