Support Bristol based artist Amber Bardell with studio costs to support their continuing practice during challenging times, alongside the London LGBTQ+ Centre. There are five amazing art prizes up for grabs! Due to the rising cost of living, and dealing with health challenges, it has been hard to sustain my practice financially. My perseverance is ever strong in the face of these challenges, so I’m creating a raffle to give you the opportunity to get some of my art for a steal, in exchange for support in the next steps on my creative journey. Right now, I’m transitioning towards using natural materials and creating a new body of work. I am loving it so much, but having moved to a new home means rising living costs are fighting with the cost of my studio space. It would be such a shame to lose this dedicated space for creating, and be cramped at home, so I’m fundraising mostly to keep me afloat whilst I juggle it all and look for more work. Mutual aid is important to me, so 25% of profits will go straight to the London LGBTQ+ centre, an important community centre working for a more connected, belonging, and thriving LGBTQ+ community in London.
