Bootham Futsal Club is a girls’ and ladies’ only futsal club based in York. In addition to our ladies’ team, we also run sessions for U10 to U18 girls with fully qualified FA Futsal Coaches. The club is an active member of the North Riding FA Mental Health Alliance Team and we provide an environment where players can feel understood and supported no matter what their current circumstances might be. We have been invited to take some of our eldest girls to represent the club for the first time in an international tournament. In June, an Under 17 team will be travelling to Italy to take part in the Montesilvano Youth Futsal Cup. This experience will be invaluable, giving the girls the opportunity to compete in a sport that they love, against girls of the same age from a range of different countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany and South America. This raffle is being held to raise much needed funds, that will be split equally, to support both the club in the UK and the team who are travelling out in June to Italy.
