As you may know, I was the model for the cover of the first Black Sabbath album. The news finally came out in an 2019 interview I did with Kory for Rolling Stone magazine. I have been getting a lot of interest and attention ever since, and seen the extraordinary amount of collectors' items for sale using my likeness from that first album. (None of which I ever made a cent from, very unfortunately). Many Black Sabbath fans have asked me online for my autograph and to this day nobody has one - for a variety of reasons! But I have now decided, at this epic time with Black Sabbath doing their last ever gig, to raffle my autograph. This way, everyone gets a chance, for a minimal outlay of £1, to have what will be a collectors' item, but at minimal cost and effort. Of course people are free to increase their chances by buying more than one raffle ticket. You can buy as many as you like. The only other autographs of mine already floating around are minimal, if they even still exist - given on very rare occasions after stage performances at the National Theatre in London decades ago when I was acting in various plays including Lark Rise and Candleford etc. If there are enough raffle tickets sold I will be in a good position to buy a decent appropriate property somewhere to have a cat refuge which is what I would really like to do. I am already helping a lot of waifs and strays in Spain which is becoming far too costly. So there is a good cause involved. I am aware it may sound rather optimistic but there are literally millions of Black Sabbath fans around the world, and if just a small proportion bought a raffle ticket costing very little, it could be life changing for my cat rescue efforts. The winner will receive a hand written letter signed by me, sent by signed-for delivery. I had no idea I was so popular until after the Rolling Stone magazine interview and article when fans sent me photos of their tattoos bearing my image etc on Facebook! People have also been making a killing with merchandise using my likeness. But I haven't made a cent. But here is a chance for us all to celebrate the last Black Sabbath gig in summer 2025 with someone also winning my sought after autograph. Plus, most importantly, this could help with my cat rescue project. There were some interesting ideas being floated around at the time I was 'discovered' about getting autographs signed but unfortunately the global lockdowns put an end to all those ideas and I haven't been in a position to sign any autographs anywhere at all, in spite of many requests online for them since. However, now, in 2025, if you feel moved to buy raffle tickets you will be helping the 'witch on the Black Sabbath cover' to do a lot more for cats that need help and looking after.
