Have you ever experienced the exhileration of setting out across fields, through woodland, beside rivers - exploring the English countryside? If so, this prize will really resonate! This original oil painting on canvas was executed in 1989, when Steve was painting much more traditionally, but even then evoking an inherent sense of timelessness, which has become the halmark of his work. (Note the signature - he didn't start to use the 'e' on the end of 'Steve' until 1994.) It is beautifully framed in hand-painted antique-white wooden moulding. (Size: 31x41cms.
