Sweepstake Summary

THIS MONTH IS A STUFF BY BEZ SPECIAL! - more about Stuff by Bez here: https://www.stuffbybez.com/ By entering this prize competition, you support The Trussell Trust, an anti-poverty charity and community of food banks in the UK, providing practical support to people who can't afford the essentials. All proceeds, minus platform fees, payment charges and postage costs, go directly to this amazing charity that campaigns for a future where nobody needs to use emergency food to get by. Prizes are a mix of review and prototype copies I received for free and games that were donated. Prototypes and review copies have been played a few times, but are all in very good condition and every game is complete. Other games may be new or used. Please check the description for each prize for more details. Please spread the word and share this raffle on social media using the link https://tabletopgamesblog.com/raffle NOTE: UK mainland postage is included, but postage to other locations has to be paid by the winner of the prize. Local pick-up is not possible. Thank you for your understanding.

4 Prizes

  • Steal, draw, donate, and pass around your cards. Try to hold onto the most valuable ones, but watch out for a sudden cat-aclysm or cat-astrophe. On your turn in Kitty Cataclysm, you simply play a card (placing it into your kitty), then do whatever it says. Getting more cards will give you more "meowney", but a few cards in the deck punish anyone with too many cards in hand. The game ends when someone has no cards to play on their turn or if the deck runs out. Occasionally the game can end in a single round, but most games take about seven minutes.

  • Players co-operatively fill 10 balloons with objects. Each object card has a weight and spikiness. Each pile must have a card from every player, but most of them have to be played face-down! Also, you can't talk. By using facial expressions and intuition, and learning the nature of the deck, you will learn what your teammates are likely to play and play better cards. If any 'balloon pile' has a weight or spikiness rating that's too high, the balloon has burst, and the game is over. Try to fill 10 balloons to win the game! This is a review copy that was played a few times, but is in great condition.

  • Do you like quickly grabbing things? Getting a bit stressed? Beetroots? “A game about quickly grabbing creatures that are totally different and counting your beetroots” is a twist on a typical speed-matching game! Everyone is grabbing their own stack, getting some satisfaction/ownership. Rather than looking for matches, you AVOID them! You can grab 5 vegetable cards. But when do you do that? Everyone is grabbing cards as quickly as they can! Cards with creatures may have 4 different heads (0, 1, 2, or 3 eyes) 3 different bodies (2 tentacles, 4 arms, or 6 wings) and 3 bottoms (1 tail, 2 legs, 4 legs). Each card you grab has to be TOTALLY different to the one just before - if any of the sections are the same, it's a foul! You also get some cards with root vegetables. Those are totally different to everything else. So they make it easier for you to grab more cards! However, you cannot grab 2 vegetable cards in a row. And there's a limit! If you grab more than 5 total, it's a foul! At the end, pass your cards to the player on your left. They will check you didn't foul by collecting 2 similar cards in a row, or take more than 5 vegetable cards. If you didn't foul, you win! But the person with the most cards won the most. Combine decks to play with more folk. This is a review copy which was played a few times, but is still in great condition.
