I was to ashamed to speak out about the severity of it and I suffered for years in silence. So, when I found out about Marcuss and what his campaign was about, I wanted to help in anyway possible. Marcuss Tisson founded Don’t suffer in silence after his mums suicide in 2016 and his farther passing away shortly after. He helps those with mental health by letting them know they are not alone and don‘t have to suffer in silence. He encourages people to come forward if they are feeling alone. He wants to raise awareness of mental health. He speaks his truth by sharing his own pain. He reaches out to those that are struggling and does his best to help them in anyway possible and believes no individual should have to feel like suicide is their only option, and no family should have to lose a loved one under those circumstances as his. Marcus offers his time for free. He organises events to raise money for UK mental health charities and spreads awareness at any opportunity possible. In between working a full time, supporting his own family And doing stand up comedy. I want to raise the money for his campaign. So that he can continue doing what he is doing. Which is building a bridge between mental illness and mental wellness.
