In 2005, with the help of the local NGO (Non-Government Organisation) SEFCA, Hope Guatemala was set up to improve the situation of the impoverished indigenous peoples of Guatemala, the Mayas. We are a totally NON-PROFIT registered charity who began to raise money for urgently needed basic tools and seeds for a Cooperative in Santiago, Sac.
