WYAIN supports many rescuers worldwide and one of these is the remarkable Georgiana Neagu who founded SOS ARMS in Romania. She is an amazing woman who tirelessly works to help animals and she needs our help. We need to raise as much money as we can to allow this compassionate rescuer to reduce her SOS ARMS debts. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to Georgiana. Currently Georgiana has over 250 dogs many of whom require urgent medical attention resulting from horrendous injuries resulting from abuse, neglect, abandonment or from hit and run traffic accidents. Many dogs, and cats, are rescued by Georgiana as emergencies. Georgiana is desperate for funds not only to feed the dogs and cats but also for the large veterinary bills she faces as the majority of the dogs and cats require urgent medical care. The veterinary costs run into many thousands. On top of all this are the unexpected costs from City Hall which really threw a curved ball to Georgiana. The shelter is built on land owned by City Hall and Georgiana rents this land from them. Out of the blue City Hall sent Georgiana Neagu a bill for over £1700 to cover the rent for buildings over a three year period and if this is not paid they could cancel the rental contract. This would be a disaster for the animals. Naturally Georgiana thought that this was included in the rent she pays every month but sadly it wasn't.
