Raffle Summary

In aid of Shooting Star Children's Hospices, this year WVAM are running a 'Lockdown Laptop Raffle' where you can digitally purchase tickets to support the fantastic work that Shooting Star Children's Hospices undertake. We have some fantastic prizes and want to raise at least £2,500 for this great cause. Many of our members have been extremely generous donating gifts for our Annual Christmas Toy Run in aid of Shooting Star, but due to COVID-19 restrictions we cannot deliver gifts directly. The Charity has had to change the way it provides care and is in need of funds to help the children this Christmas. Therefore we ask that this year you dig deep and buy as many tickets as you can. 100% of proceeds will be going to the Charity as the prizes have been donated by local businesses or funded by club members. The cost of running the raffle online is also being sponsored.

  • Donated by our very own Chief Observer, Peter Hamidzadeh. The LifeProof Vision coating creates a super hydrophobic protective layer over the surface causing water to bead up and run off quickly, providing clearer vision. The surface is so smooth that dirt will find it hard to stick. Riding in the rain will be enough to clean the visor. Bugs and road film are easily wiped off with a damp cloth (no scrubbing required). The coating is 9h scratch-resistant so you can, for example, wipe the visor with a gloved finger and not scratch it. It will not scratch through normal use and cleaning. The coating is UV protective and contains an anti-glare formula. It’s also fully chemically resistant. On a visor, the coating should last the life of the helmet meaning you shouldn’t need to change visors. There is a 2-year guarantee with this product. The guarantee covers use on the windscreen where wiper blades can wear down the coating if they are not maintained properly within two years of normal use. https://www.supershieldauto.co.uk/lifeproofvision
